We brew this amber colored Autumn lager every year for our great friend Kevin Willman of Farmhaus. Brewed with German Pilsner and German Munich Malt, this light crisp lager has a nice bready backbone with a light cracker finish. Unfiltered and crushable, this beer keeps you going through the fall months.
Double IPA with Mosaic and Citra Hops, 8.0% ABV
We are proud to bring you a new hazy DDH double IPA that means more to us than your average beer. Breathing: Conversations is a double IPA spun down with Ekuanot Cryo, and then dry-hopped with copious amounts of Mosaic and armloads of Citra. You are in your happy place - heavy folds of pineapple, passionfruit & grapefruit whisk you away. Wave after wave of sweet, luscious nectar are swirling around your feet. Someone pops open a fresh can of tennis balls and you remember that not everything is as it seems. You grab some friends and explore the deeper mysteries of life.
Following the lead of @finbackbrewery, we are challenging beer consumers (you) and brewers (us) to think about difficult topics like race, with the goal of creating a more open and equitable future. More than 40 other breweries, who also believe that craft beer has the power to unite people, are brewing their own versions of Breathing: Conversations. Here in Saint Louis, systemic issues contribute to dramatic segregation and inequality. Ultimately we need to work together to give everybody the same opportunities to thrive. Our label asks you to consider how we affirm and uplift people that we do not know, or that do not look like us; how we appreciate people for who they are, rather than how they grew up. We invite you to think about how this beer got into your hands. Consider how to create a more inclusive environment as brewers and beer drinkers. Share some Breathing: Conversations with a friend and immerse yourself in a healthy discussion. If you are a brewer, think about joining the conversation as well.
All proceeds will be donated to Forward Through Ferguson. Embracing the Ferguson Commission's mandate, @stlchange is a catalyst in the Saint Louis region's move towards racial equity. They are working to create a future where all people in the Saint Louis region can thrive. We encourage everyone to read the Ferguson Commission Report and learn more about their work.
