Hurry On Daylight is the next in our series of “hazy lite” IPAs. Brewed with a sturdy malt bill, we let these dry out a touch more and then dry-hopped with different hop combinations. Hurry on Daylight features handfuls of Cascade, Amarillo and Crystal. This beer reminds us of hazy drives thru Rocky Mountain National Park, orange-limeade, homegrown cantaloupe, and listening to Hiss Golden Messenger while driving East.
We brewed this hazy IPA with our friends from Other Half in Brooklyn, NY. With a malt bill constructed upon European grown Pilsner and both Flaked Oats and Wheat, we utilized our house ale yeast blend to amplify the heavy dry-hopping. First crushed with some 2019 Citra, then finished off with more 2019 Citra, 2019 Mosaic and 2019 Galaxy (from our budz at OH). This hoppy brew reminds us of shotgunning carbonated pineapple juice, Sour Diesel carts, sun baked mango slices, and trippy Ferris Wheels rides in a hop wind tunnel.
